Our Leader

Ted Groves is the founding pastor of Grace Community Church in West Allis, Wisconsin, where he has been the senior pastor since 1988. He has been in the gospel ministry for over forty years (since 1970). He was a school teacher for 10 years before entering the ministry. He has a B.A. and a M.A. from the University of Evansville in Education and a M.A. in Christian History and Theology from Wheaton College. He served as an Assistant Pastor at the Berean Bible Church, in Evansville, Indiana from 1970 to 1975. He was also the Senior Pastor at Grace Bible Church, in West Allis Wisconsin from 1976 to 1988, after which he acted to found the Grace Community Church of West Allis, Wisconsin. He is also a certified biblical counselor (NANC and IABC).

Ted has been married to Linda since 1965. They have three children: David, the oldest, is Chief of Police in Hartford, Wisconsin; Jason, is a carpenter in Nashville Tennessee; and, Audrey, is a C.N.A. in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Ted and Linda are also proud grandparents many times over.
