Daniel and Lidia Maranon Tarija, Bolivia

Very much beloved Pastor Ted and Grace Community Church Family,

 

We praise God for blessing us and enabling us in order to encourage other pastors and leaders in the discipleship ministry.  Indeed it is a great encouragement to witness the mighty way God is using the SBC ministry in our brethren’s lives in Bolivia.

By His grace, I was able to teach the SBC discipleship in 2 local churches and their pastors and leaders understood the fact that they were neglecting the discipleship ministry and work in the believer´s lives.  The SBC material has already caused a tremendous impact in 4 churches in Tarija - Bolivia.

 

During June, 18 pastors and leaders were taught and trained to use the SBC with their people.  Praise God!  We believe that the local church leadership understood the importance of the discipleship ministry and have been challenged to disciple in their churches using the SBC material.

 

If you would, please pray for me as I have a trip postponed to the city of Potosí because of the many blockades on the Bolivian roads.  This is something hard for other countries to understand but it is very commune here that when a syndicate, or a community does not get the government´s attention,  they just block the roads for days or sometimes weeks and that affects a lot of people until the government hears their demands and negotiate with them. Anyways, at the end of July I will be visiting Potosi and the Christians there and in August I will be going to Cochabamba and in September I will be going to Argentina and teach the SBC discipleship with a Pastor friend and his church.!!!!

 

Once again, thank you for your prayers and support given in order to train others and teach the Great Commission to the Bolivian Churches and other countries as well, so we praise God for the SBC material.
