We had a clinic in Anenii Noi situated near Chisinau. There were 31 people from 22 churches. The official language there is Romanian but they all know Russian because of the Russian domination over the years. Although they are an independent state now, they still have a powerful Russian influence. Most of the Christian materials are in Russian so they were very happy to receive Hope for Kids materials in Romanian and they are eager to receive also some SBC books because they expressed the desire to start in the men groups and surprisingly the leader of the women group asked for this material (strong hard-working sisters in that part of the world): )They were one of the most responsive and enthusiastic crew and they really enjoyed the material. They thanked us and in the end they were eager to begin teaching the program to their groups.
On Sunday I was invited to teach SBC material. There were about 70 people who attended. Many people came to us and told us they were encouraged by the SBC chapters we went through and they asked for the book. The pastor’s wife said the message spoke right to her as she was confronting fear and other spiritual war challenges and the SBC presentation helped her solve some of the issues.
All in all it was a wonderful time with our brothers and sisters who speak the same language as us and we’ve also been blessed to see how much joy the materials brought to them. We had also the Lord's supper together and after that it was a lunch for all.
This week end we have another clinic for probably other 20 churches and next week end another clinic in Oradea North-West Romania.
Please pray for the next SBC training on 16th of March in Sintana in the West part of Romania close to the Hungarian border.
Be richly blessed
Samuel
