Max and Grace Hughes - Kabankalan, Philippines

Dear Pastor Groves,

We had a blessed time at the Easter College in Baguio!  There were 101 signed in participants for the Oct. 28-29 SBC seminar.  Evaluations were all positive and they expressed thankfulness for opening their hearts and minds to God’s Word.

From the President of Easter college, Dr. Santiago:  “We are praying that God’s Word will take root.  We thank the Lord for sending you to us, for having your team rekindle the fire that we need in preparation for us to meet our students this second semester. The three older women from our church who attended SBC are very thankful they attended.  They keep sharing what they learned to our choir members and other older ladies in church.  Thank you again so very much!” 

The special music Cherry prepared was very special and appreciated .  We could see this by the attentiveness of the participants.  The three of us are always really blessed by the reaction to the SBC material.  We felt like they were sponges that just absorbed God’s Word! 

This was the 25th SBC seminar we have conducted and we agreed that it always refreshes us personally!  We started in 2007 and have done 12 in the Kabankalan area, 5 in other areas on Negros, 1 in Cebu, 2 in Manila area, 1 in Dagupan, and  Pangasinan, 1 in Mindoro, 1 in Bagui and 2 in Hong Kong.  Such a blessing to us!
