SBC CONF PASTOR DANIEL MARANON AT 

YOUTH LEADERS RETREAT PERU, BOLIVIA, ARGENTINA

BELOVED PASTOR TED AND SBC FAMILY,  

  

We always thank God for you in our prayers appreciating all the support you give us for the preaching of the Gospel as well as for those who are saved to be discipled and guided to the Truth.  

Thank you for investing in Bolivia, Argentina and Peru.  These I’ve mentioned are our mission fields thanks to the SBC discipleship that is such a huge blessing in all those places.  

By God’s grace we’ve had the privilege to organize a YOUTH LEADERS retreat in Arequipa – Peru where we’ve had young people from Argentina, Bolivia and Peru for 4 days where we’ve been studying and preparing ourselves to teach in our churches and in our countries the SBC Training. 

We praise God for those brave young people who understood that it is God’s will to make disciples and we thank God for that. And that it is also the SBC vision.  

We would like to share with you A testimony about our way back to Bolivia from Peru.  The day before our return home, social unrest gets unleashed in Peru where police officers and regular citizens were using guns against each other due to the arrest of the elected president for corruption.  That fact caused lots of riots and the closure of the border with Bolivia, blockades of the main highways and we were 1000 km (about 621.37 mi) away from the border and right in the center of the social conflicts.  Unfortunately, there were many people shot and dead in those conflicts, but we were praying to be able to get out of there somehow.  We had run out of money and many of our young people had to return home for work and others for college, so we prayed and decided to return home by faith.  It took us 2 days to return home, went through lots of blockage points and conflict zones, we travelled by car, bus, and trucks but finally made it home safe and sound praising God for His intensive care.  

Each one of us grew in our trust in the Lord and with more conviction to preach the Gospel as we are aware of our society being so lost in hopelessness and corruption. We are sure it was a very practical lesson we had to pass in order to affirm some of the SBC teachings about the spiritual warfare we are in.  To God Be the Glory! 

Another blessing we would like to share with you is that 2 of our young people who got their bible training in our Bible Institute were called to pastor churches in Argentina. 

Vicente Frias was called to pastor the “Manantial de Vida” (Spring of life) church in CASPALA – ARGENTINA.  

Also, Vldimir Zelaya was called to pastor the “Eben - Ezer” church in HUMAHUACA – ARGENTINA  

We thank God for both Vicente and Vldimir whom both have study the SBC book and now they both will have this amazing tool to encourage and train up disciples for the Lord spreading out the philosophy of discipleship all around their mission fields.   

By God’s grace we went on a mission trip to “Santa Ana” ARGENTINA to preach at a pastors and church leaders conference.  After a long trip (12-hour drive) we arrived at a gorgeous place in the mountains and met amazing brethren there, some of them travelled (walked) for 23 hours to get there from their villages to hear the Word of God.  Know that truly broke our hearts and gave us much courage to give them the Word of God with much more excellence teaching and treasuring every minute they walked in cold weather through the mountain in order to be edified by the Word of God. We thank God for the SBC Training as it was well received there and gave them much courage and now, they can use it to carry out the mission of discipleship in their churches.  Praise the Lord! 

Another privilege God gave us was to train up a new group of brethren in TARIJA – BOLIVIA in the SBC book so that they can be part of the team taking this material to many other churches as we know the harvest is plenty and our desire is to have more servants loving the Lord using wisely the Word of God and also be able to follow the SBC book.  The training course was for 4 days and there were 34 people being encouraged and trained up. Beloved brethren, we ask your prayers for the upcoming SBC conferences. 

AUGUST:  

⦁ Leaders Training in ANGOSTO DEL PARANI – ARGENTINA 

⦁ Vacation Bible School (We want to challenge the children with the SBC for 4 days) 

⦁ Missions Conference in BOLIVIA (We will have several missionaries visit us, they are serving in different mission fields and to them we will be training and encouraging them to use the SBC book.) 

SEPTEMBER 

⦁ Youth Conference in BOLIVIA (youth leaders coming from Perú, Argentina and Bolivia will be trained in the SBC book) 

⦁ Church leaders SBC training in Rio Blanquito ARGENTINA 

⦁ Church leaders SBC training in Cochabamba – BOLIVIA 

  

We thank God for the SBC ministry for providing such a biblical and practical material so that many brethren in South America may be edified and strengthened in the Word of God. 

We must end this report letter for now, but we pray asking the Lord to bless you richly in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   

Thank you for investing in the ministry that our Lord has entrusted us and thank you for your prayers that sustain us always.

⦁ For the International Retreat in Peru, thank God for all the teachings from God’s Word and for the SBC vision in the life of the 24 leaders representing the 3 countries. 

⦁ For the doors the Lord is opening for us so that we may keep teaching and training the SBC vision. 

⦁ For the leadership the Lord is raising to keep spreading the Gospel and discipline in the SBC book. 

⦁ For our children:  

⦁ CALEB is finishing his second year in the Bible Institute getting ready for the work of the Lord. 

⦁ JOSUE is finishing his second year in college and faithfully serving the Lord in different ministries with the children in our church. 

⦁ MOISES is growing in his walk with the Lord as he is growing as a teenager. 

  

PRAYER REQUESTS 

⦁ For the upcoming Conferences and Training Courses in the next few months 

⦁ For the leaders we are preparing to carry on the SBC vision. 

⦁ For wise planning our next trip to the US next year (so that the Lord may provide churches and families willing to be part of God’s work in South America)
