“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered" Daniel 12.1

Dear pastor Ted,

It is an immense joy and a big comfort to know that we are protected by Lord Almighty, and even when times of trouble are coming, we can stay close to the Lord because He is the Hard Rock and our fortress. In all these circumstances we have been able to travel to Austria and have there a blessed SBC at Sion Brethren Church Wien.

There were about 70 people in the audience, and it was so nice to have the fellowship together. The participants were from a few different churches, Baptists, Pentecostals, and of course Brethren. We gave them the German version of SBC and we were so welcome. After that, we had lunch together and the leader of the host church invited us to stay for the meeting with the young group from two different churches and share more about evangelism and discipleship.

"God's word is powerful because it has a purpose which He wants it to accomplish. Each chapter and verse are there for a purpose and reason. Sometimes the purpose of the Word of God is to discipline us because we are God's children, and He loves us. At times it heals us, comforts us, and protects us."

SBC is about implementing God's word in our lives and now, when we pass through challenging times in Eastern Europe, we see how much more precious and valid the promises of He who is Unchangeable and Faithful!
