Dear brother Ted,

It is a great joy to communicate the updates about our ministry in Romania related to GCC. Even if the pandemic situation created a lot of restrictions and we are not have been more able to travel. we see the Lord’s hand moving in these things and opening new doors despite our present situation.

First, I want to thank you for your prayers and your support because we can see how important they are because of the close relationships we have during this special time.

We have felt loved and are sharing the same faith and passion for discipleship and I am so glad that we were able to see you and pastor Ross and the brothers and sisters from GCC right before this big mess with COVID 19.

In Bucharest, the capital city, at the beginning of August, with the conditions of social distancing we had to meet outside the church, and I was invited to give a message at the Good News Church, one of the largest Baptist Churches in our area and I had shared my favorite message using SBC principles and the community was encouraged and we prayed together for God’s grace to be able to face the Spiritual warfare before us.

I am so thrilled about the way how God has used these Bible principles in SBC to encourage, to counsel, to strengthen people in this special time of fear, doubt, and uncertainty, to reveal again the sovereignty of God and His grace and His resources for all the Christians.

In Adjud we had the SBC conference already with some people there and they invited me again because they had spoken with others there about SBC training and they also had a desire for the people who were not present the first time, to also be trained.

this way we were able to more training, it was a very good fellowship and displayed a strong encouragement there.

In North East Romania, in Strunga in a camp location provided by an organization working with people with disabilities, I organized a camp for the youth, and we gathered with 34 people.

and we had trained there in evangelism and discipleship and again I had the opportunity to share SBC teaching. It had a very good time together, we had 3 days training and God had shown us again His mercy on us.

For the theoretical part but also on the practical part we were able to go around into different locations to share the Gospel to about 150 people.

This was a special time for me, and I believed the Lord has searched my heart and I realized that we must do something with SBC training also for the teenagers there and this must be a clear focus because they must know the reality about the spiritual realm of battle at an early age, even 10-12 years old otherwise they will be easy prey for Satan’s attacks. I committed myself to work more in this direction and to find how we can adapt the

teaching because the need is so huge, and the roar of the Lion is so disturbing toward the younger generation.

After that, I had travel up toward North in Botoșani county and I had 2 other SBC training in Romanesti and Dirslea.

In Romanesti at a Brethren Church, we had about 25 people and the message was received very well there. They had received and were encouraging by it. I had adapted a lot of things toward the pandemic situation and that is why SBC was so relevant to them. There was a lot of fear in putting together God’s promises but with faith, it seems so much more important now than in the previous years.

Behind the masks, we have been able to see the understanding and the joy coming from the exposure of God’s word.

In Dirslea we had a larger community present there about 30 and we had an incredibly valuable time together. We worked together through the materials and they were incredibly happy to receive the SBC books to go deeper.

after we met. The discussions with some of the participants continued with many after that.

This month I will be again in the area for some follow-ups because there were 50 children, we had introduced to the program. It is the whole Bible reading for this school year and I really want to expose them to the SBC principles and invest my time in them much more.
