SBC CONF IN JERUSALEM JUNE 8TH 2019

Dear pastor Ted,

It is a great joy to tell you about our great experience in the land of Israel where on Saturday 8th June 2019, we had an SBC introduction in Jerusalem. It was wonderful to see that Christ’s sacrifice on the cross gave us the salvation of people from every tribe and language and people and nation so that, through Him, we can worship God from anywhere at any time in spirit and in truth and we can be brothers and sisters in Christ.

In some ways, Israel is just one of many nations under God’s sovereign rule and we were able to see that there is a great need for discipleship and many churches still must come again understanding the first truths of the apostles of the first century. On the other hand, Israel stands out as historically unique from every other nation under heaven being the grand theater of God’s redemptive play.

My uncle has been working there for 8 years and arranged for us, to facilitate this introduction and the people attending were such an encouragement to us. Under the high pressure of practicing Christianity, they found the principles very useful for the stressful life in Jerusalem today.

There were about 30 people and our fellowship was a very nice one. At the end we celebrated the fellowship with a big luncheon with typical Jewish food.

We praise the Lord for this opportunity, and we see the Lord's hand moving there. It is an opened door to do some follow up and to train there also several groups of missionaries.

Only our Lord Jesus who walked on the earth there made it possible for the Gospel and Bible truths to be proclaimed in Jerusalem, Samaria Judea Romania and Wisconsin. We are so thankful to be the fruits of His grace and to be able to come back in the Holy Land and re-call the people to be completely dedicated to God.

So, Shalom and keep praying for the peace of Jerusalem!
