SBC Conference August 22, 2018

Beloved Pastor Ted and SBC partners,

We are very grateful to the Lord for the opportunities and the open doors He is opening for the Word of God through SBC get to many pastors, church leaders in different countries in South America.

In August, the Lord has given me the privilege to be teaching in a QPV conference (that stands for people comings from Creeks, Mountains and Valleys in Spanish) where there were 18 pastors attending and several church leaders from 20 churches who work very hard in their communities. In this opportunity, I have travelled with three more men (leaders in my church) whom I am training in the SBC material so that they may teach it themselves to others.

It was a huge blessing to see those pastors being in the ministry for years being so grateful for the teaching they have received as far as discipleship and the SBC, see their faces glow of joy to know the truths from the Word of God and hear testimonies like pastor Eugenio and Felipe, made my day. They shared with me that they are very excited to teach the SBC material to their people in their churches and other pastors who live on the mountain tops at 4.100 elevation over the sea level who were not able to attend this conference but they promised they would make sure they receive the material as well! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Also we thank God for pastors who live in the Valley area, like pastor Cristóbal who is the representative of over 25 churches of different valleys in Salta and Jujuy (Argentina) who invited me to teach the pastors and the church leaders. He left the conference very excited and thankful with the SBC vision.

It was a great blessing to see the joy that the Word of God produces in the lives of our brethren; it was a sweet time, lots of question and testimonies of how the Lord is talking to their hearts.

God willing, we are to go back in September from the 19th to the 23rd where we expect to have over 350 young people who come from the QPV (Creeks, Mountains and Valleys area). Please pray so that the Lord may use us in the lives of those young people. We are driving there so we need God’s care. This last trip we have had some mechanical issues, so we need God’s provision for that.

We thank God for the blessing He is giving us to be part of the SBC ministry, we know the Lord is using this BIBLE material to encourage and strengthen His people. We believe that the Word of God us the only weapon in this spiritual warfare and the SBC is the bullets that the Lord is using to help His army.
