NARRATIVE REPORT OF SBC PASTORS’CONFERENCE AT KIRUNDO AND MUYINGA

Dear Brother Ted Groves,

Greetings to you in the precious name of our Lord Jesus the Wonderful Savior of the World. Please convey our greetings to our Brothers and Sisters to all the Saints at Grace Community Church and to all different people who are supporting the SBC Discipleship Ministry around the World. May God’s blessings be upon everyone who, from near and far is supporting this Ministry. Here I am sending my report for the two conferences that were held in two different Provinces KIRUNDO and MUYINGA as I communicated to you previously.

We left Bujumbura on 27 October and arrived in Kirundo a little Late in the evening. In Kirundo we were able to conduct two days of SBC conference from 28^th and 29^th October 2015. We had a total of 59 participants in addition to three SBC facilitators at Kirundo we were hosted by one church denomination called “Fountain of Life Church International”

In Muyinga, we were hosted by Church called “Eglise Evangélique de l’Afrique Centrale”

Participants in Muyinga were big in number than Kirundo because they have invited leaders from four local Churches to come together for this SBC conference, where the attendance was more than 103 participants.

PARTICIPANTS TESMONIES FROM KIRUNDO AND MUYINGA

• The assistant to the Bishop of that Church who also participated in our SBC Conference said “ I have just come to participate in this conference just to test and find out the kind of teaching you are giving in our church. and have found that your teachings are very good and can also recommend them to other church denominations. If I had known that you were going to teach them here I would have invited other church denominations to come with us” Please come and conduct these conferences here in Kirundo, you would be very much welcome.

• Another parish Pastor stood up and thanked us telling us all that we are different from other ministries because we dare go up to country places. Because they themselves only conduct in capital cities or big cities. They really thanked us. May Glory and honor be to God.

• Another Pastor said that the four strategies can be considered like four key pillars that can be used to evaluate the situation of our Christian life on daily basis.
•  
• There was competition between men and women about memorizing the four strategies and their scriptures. The results were that women were better than the men.
•  
• In Muyinga, all leaders that participated in our SBC conferences had encouraged us to keep coming to equip them and their church saint’s there. The doors would be widely opened for us any time we are available.
•  
• Most of the participants were astonished to hear that every Christian is at war in his or her daily life. This sounded new to most of them and encouraged them to keep coming to be equip them spiritually.

• In Muyinga, we were encouraged to see on how women transformed the four strategies into songs in the way, we were surprised to hear and to see how they were dancing, mentioning the four strategies and their scriptures
